Is Priestly Pointers about something religious?

Not quite. It’s a blog and a website with pointers by Joseph Priest. (See the priestly halo in the logo above?) It’s a place where you can stay up on the latest developments in grammar and style, and a place where you can hit me with anything from quick grammar questions to full document review requests.

Let me explain. In today’s fast-moving, social-media-driven world, new vocabularies and usages are evolving at breakneck speed, and making it more important than ever to keep up with new language developments as well as those oldies but goodies of writing that continue to confound. In my role as a writer and editor in public relations for over 20 years, I’ve continually received requests from friends, co-workers and peers to review their writing, and I continue to help them address common errors of language and style to help make their communications more clear and consistent. To help people find me and get my help more easily, I’ve created this site.

If you have a quick question on grammar or style or need help with a full document proof, bring it on. Send your request through the Contact page above so we can talk more.
